The new Monitor Series 7 loudspeakers represent a complete redesign of the line-up, both technologically and aesthetically. While faithfully preserving the natural acoustic signature that has made the Monitors so popular, trickle-down technology from the Paradigm Reference line ensures critical sonic refinements. The new Monitor Series 7 also offers cleaner, more linear aesthetics with a smaller footprint.

Amongst the technological developments that Paradigm has introduced from its Reference Line to this new iteration are:

the introduction of S-PAL™ satin-anodised pure-aluminium dome tweeters and cones

• new high-temperature voice coils (aluminium or copper) wound on Kapton® formers
• Large ferrite magnets; with super neodymium magnets in Monitor 11′s dedicated midrange driver
• New lightweight foam-rubber surround geometry with exceptional damping  properties and much higher excursion capability
• Waveguide design offering improved high-frequency dispersion

The new range delivers greater sensitivity and deeper bass extension on floor standing models and centre channels.

The Monitor Series 7 is available in Black Ash and a new Heritage Cherry finish. Surrounds are in Black. They are shipping now.

The M1 is engineered with advanced load monitoring and power factor correction technology to account for fluctuations in mains voltage, even to as low as 120 Volts. Frequency response is load-independent: the difference in response between a 2-ohm load and an open circuit is only an astounding 0.1 dB, and between 4 ohms and 8 ohms there is no change in frequency response at all. The M1 is also a true ‘double-down’ amplifier with 1000W into 8 ohms and 2000W into 4 ohms, with total harmonic distortion remaining under 0.1% from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

Class D amplifiers provide tremendous value over traditional amps because of their efficient output from a smaller form factor, and the M1 is no different. Occupying only a single rack unit, Anthem designed the new Statement amplifier with a heat pipe cooling system that allows multiple M1s, with feet removed, to be rack-mounted directly on top of one another. Fanless and easy-to-integrate, the M1’s design makes it a serious contender, whether installed in the listening room or in an equipment rack.

Included in the system is a digitally modelled time constant of the circuit interrupter, which does not trip the instant its maximum current is reached. Similar to slow-blow fuses, this feature allows momentary current surges that do not last long enough to result in excessive heat.

The Zero Edge enables owners to enjoy the projection anywhere benefit of Black Diamond combined with a cutting edge aesthetic design. This is the most stunning screen money can buy.

Standard screen sizes are available in 80 to 142-inch diagonal. Custom screen sizes are available as well. Screen materials include Black Diamond 2.7, Black Diamond 1.4 and Black Diamond 0.8. The Black Diamond Zero Edge is available in the UK now.

Reengineered and redesigned from head to toe, the Cinema line models include: the Cinema 100 satellite (table-top stand and wall-mount bracket included), the Cinema 200 on-wall, the Cinema 400 on-wall, the Cinema Trio 3-in-1 LCR, the Cinema Sub and the Cinema 100 CT 5.1 system. A seemingly endless array of audio configurations can be arranged with this combination of satellite, on-wall and 3-in-1 speakers, depending on customer preference.

Paradigm has infused the Cinema speakers with Reference-quality crossovers, S-PAL satin-anodised pure-aluminium dome tweeters and wire-mesh tweeter guards with WaveGuide^TM technology borrowed from the Reference Signature series. Mineral-filled polypropylene bass/midrange cones with added mineral content stiffen cone composition. Across the series, acoustic achievements include: lower frequency extension, flat response curves, further reduced distortion, sustained sensitivity and improved full dispersion.

Aesthetically, the Cinema speakers include new curved and sculpted acoustic suspension cabinets with an industrial high-gloss finish, offering a modern appeal. Push-through binding posts with new Easy-Glide wire channels allow for painless installation and banana plug access. For placement flexibility without sacrificing performance, Paradigm has equipped the new Cinema with the EasyMount™ wall-mounting system.

The new Cinema Sub has a dramatically increased dynamic range and features an 8” high-excursion driver made of polymer composite, capable of producing 300 watts Dynamic Peak and 100 watts RMS sustained. The Cinema Sub allows for two different placement options: gloss side up or cloth side up, depending on aesthetic preference.

The 3 new Black Diamond G3 upgrades include:

• All-new 2.7 gain for commercial and 3D applications.  Black Diamond 2.7 is polarisation preserving for passive 3D and increases projector brightness by 2.7 times compared to a 1.0 gain screen.  Black Diamond is counter intuitive when it comes to viewing angle.  The new high gain 2.7 Black Diamond has one of the widest viewing cones available making it the perfect solution for wide audience viewing.
• All-new .8 and 1.4 gain materials.  These are much darker with improved light rejection, increased contrast, and razor sharp smooth images.

Black Diamond screens have set the standard for screen technologies allowing customers to enjoy the big screen experience in living rooms, game rooms, restaurants, boardrooms, churches, and even outdoors.
